Rubis was built on strong values — loyalty, integrity, responsibility — which shape its culture and guide its actions. The Group places respect for ethical principles at the heart of its relationships with all its stakeholders.
The principles of our Code of Ethics apply to all our operations, everywhere we are present:
We expect our employees and managers to comply with these principles and regulations at all times, and we require our service providers to meet equivalent standards in terms of safety, environmental protection and respect for people. We deploy tools to build high-quality, trust-based relationships with all our stakeholders.
Updated in 2023 and available in 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German), our Code of Ethics sets out the principles and rules governing the responsible conduct of our operations. By helping to build trust-based relationships with all our stakeholders, both internal and external, it is an essential driver of the robustness of our activities.
Our Code of Ethics is supplemented by our Anti-corruption Guide, which was also expanded in 2021 following a detailed mapping of the Group’s corruption risks. The foundation of our internal rules and procedures for preventing corruption, it makes it easier to understand sensitive or abnormal situations and provides advice on how to identify and reject unacceptable practices.
Our employees, along with our business partners and their employees, can report any breach, abnormal situation or infringement of our Code of Ethics or Anti-corruption Guide without risk of retaliation. To this end, we have set up a number of simple and confidential reporting channels:
We are implementing a Responsible Purchasing approach to better manage the impacts of our purchasing on people and the environment. Among its key components, our Responsible Purchasing Charter sets out the Group’s expectations as well as the commitments made to its suppliers. It helps build a trust-based relationship with our partners and provides a framework for managing ethical and sustainability issues across our purchasing.
